TASMANIA'S premier jockey Brendon McCoull ended the 2009-10 season on a winning note then he partnered promising two-year-old filly Cervelo to an effortless victory at the last meeting of the season in Hobart on Sunday.

It was McCoull's 90^th outright winner for the season and it left him 26 wins clear of his nearest rival Stephen Maskiell.

McCoull has dominated Tasmania's riding ranks for the past 12 years with this latest premiership his 11^th.

The majority of his wins this season were derived from the David and Scott Brunton stable but he also managed to spread his services around, probably more so than in recent years.
